is an artist in research in the fields of body movement and authentic expression through various medias. Underlying her different activities, her main focus prevails in creating connections and communication between people. Mostly in the human, social and cultural level through travelling and understanding human systems, but also in the artistic exploration with bringing together different synergies.
While studying political sciences in Institute of Politic Studies of Toulouse, Leïla becomes the coordinator of the NGO ‘Les Jeunes Ecologistes’, holding socio-political encounters, public actions and various trainings. After travelling in Australia, Central and Northern America, her focus evolves from politics to arts. She studies visual arts in the Superior School of Arts and Design, in Valence, France; where she gets involved in organizing artistic events with a group of circus, musicians and visual artists. Since then, while moving through space and linking groups of people together, she’s been involved in the making of different festivals (Festival of Shamanism, Genac; MantraFest), dance camps (Arrabida CI Gatherings), contemporary dance workshops (SeaDance artistic residencies and intensives), and working in places that host concerts and cultural events in France and Portugal.
